Mr. Arvind Kumar Chalasani has an M.Sc in Environmental Chemistry, an M.Phil in Energy and Environment and a B.Ed. He is a trained professional by the IBO in Environmental Systems, CAS and TOK.
He started his career as a teacher at The Doon School, Dehradun in 1998. During his 11 year tenure at the Doon School he held various positions as a teacher, Senior House Master, CAS coordinator, Round Square representative, In charge - Teacher and Student exchange, Community Service and Technology, etc. In addition to his responsibilities as a teacher, he also assumed the role of a teacher trainer in Environmental Science and Education for the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations and trained many teachers in India and Middle East. Apart from teaching in India, he has also taught at the Millfield School, England for a short while.
Mr. Chalasani was awarded the prestigious Green Teacher of the year award in 2004 by ABN AMRO Bank and Sanctuary, Asia for his role in promoting awareness in school children for saving the Indian tiger and the ‘Chila – Motichur’ elephant corridor.
An avid trekker and social worker, Mr. Chalasani was the coordinator for RSIS projects in India and has successfully organized and attended more than 17 regional and international service projects. He was elected as the Secretary for the South Asia and Gulf Region for the Round Square international organization for the year 2009 – 10. Mr. Chalasani was given the honorary membership of Round Square International by the governing council in the year 2010 for his role in spreading the IDEALS of Round Square among the various stake holders.
Before joining Pathways, Mr. Chalasani was the Principal of Indus International School, Hyderabad and successfully led the school for both, IBDP and PYP authorizations.
Carrying rich experience in various administrative roles from his previous assignments, Mr.Chalasani has joined Pathways World School, Aravali on the 1st of June, 2012 as the Principal, Senior School.
Sumit M. Dargan has M.Com and B.Ed. Degrees. He has been with Pathways since November, 2008 teaching Business & Management and Economics in the Senior School till he assumed office as Middle School Principal in early 2010. He joined us from The Sanskaar Valley School, Bhopal where he was the Vice Principal. Earlier, he was with The Doon School as IB Coordinator, Head of Technology, Housemaster and teacher. Sumit has been in teaching and held diverse administrative positions for the past 19 years and has vast experience in varied types of schools (Boarding, Day, Indian, International, etc) and four different curricula: IB, ISC, IGCSE and CBSE.
Sumit’s experience with established as well as new schools has helped him to discern closely the constantly evolving needs of schools and varied demands of different curricula. His passion for social work has kept him actively involved with the Round Square Movement. As a trained Project Leader, he is also currently the Service Projects Coordinator for Round Square Schools in South Asia & Gulf region.
Primary SchoolMeenakshi Singal has eighteen years of experience in the field of education, much of it in leadership positions in prominent schools in India and overseas. She brings considerable professional expertise to the role with hands - on experience in national and international education systems, including curriculum and human resource development.
Meenakshi has a post graduate degree in two disciplines, English Literature and Public Administration. She has a Bachelor of Education Degree from India and has also trained at the Principal’s Training Centre in London for International School Leadership. She is a certified Tutor for teachers of ESL (English as Second Language) Learners from Department of Education and Children’s Services, Government of South Australia and has successfully conducted training modules for staff in different international schools.Her teaching and academic experience is as follows -
