MYP Coordinator

Pathways School Noida is seeking an IB MYP Coordinator to begin in July 2014. Candidates must have relevant experience with teaching and planning in the MYP. Previous Leadership experience is an advantage.

The coordinator reports to the Principal and is responsible for the effective organization of the IB MYP curriculum program. The responsibilities of the IB Middle Years Program Coordinator are to:

  • Steer the school through the process of authorization
  • Work with the Director and Principal to ensure appropriate training for all staff.
  • Work with teachers, students and the school community to meet the requirements of the IB MYP programme
  • Coordinate all IBMYP activities and ensure that the school meets all IB regulations and deadlines
  • Prepare and update the school's IBMYP publications and records
  • Keep complete records of IB publications on file and maintain accurate written and/or electronic records of all aspects of the IBMYP program
  • Notify the Finance department of any payment due
  • Contribute to creating an awareness of the IB MYP program, within and outside the school
Head of Science Department

Qualifications : MA degree or higher in Physics. Experience with teaching IB Diploma is essential. The successful candidate should also have the capacity to teach Chemistry at IGCSE level.

Leadership Experience: The successful candidate should currently be in a position of responsibility and ready to lead a high achieving department of dedicated teachers.

  • To lead the development and implementation of appropriate syllabuses, schemes of work and resources of the curriculum.
  • To monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of practice in the curriculum area.
  • To develop strategies for improvement as a result of monitoring performance data and reviewing patterns.
  • To work with colleagues to formulate, monitor and evaluate the department's strategic development plan.
  • To support the Senior Leadership Team in meeting whole school priorities and in realising the school's shared vision.
  • To ensure the effective day to day management of the curriculum including deployment of staff and resources and making appropriate arrangements for classes.
  • To take appropriate action in order to build and maintain effective teamwork within the curriculum area through sharing good practice and innovative use of meeting and training times.
  • To ensure that teaching groups are organised so that the interests of all students are best met and in which individuals are encouraged to perform at the highest possible level.
  • To manage the department's budget.
English Teacher Opening to teach from class 9 to class 12 English for both IGCSE and IB. The candidate should have Post Graduate qualification in English and should have at least 6 -7 years of teaching experience. IGCSE and/or IB teaching experience will be considered as an added advantage. Teach students about the structure and content of the English language, including proper grammar, spelling, sentence structure and literary styles. Responsible for instructing students on interpreting literary and non-literary (advertisements, media etc.) texts.
Music Teacher (Piano)

Formal training in Music. Specialized in piano to teach at Middle school, and IB & IGCSE level is preferred but not essential. 6-8 years of Experience. Should have the following:

  • Excellent musicianship
  • Good interpersonal/communication skills
  • Creativity and proactively
  • Strong knowledge of musical styles
  • Ability to guide the students progress improving their musical skills
  • Abiltity to encourage student to give public performance
  • Ability to see student's weak and strong points and giving students constructive feedback
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent stage presence.


  • Qualified piano teacher with minimum grade 8 level certificate
  • Qualified music theory teacher with minimum grade 8 level certificate including history of the western classical music
  • Ability to arrange and conduct a variety of musical genres for a variety of instruments and choir

Emphasis on these considerations would be preferable:

  • Ability to teach IGCSE and IB levels
  • Vocal skills and additional instrument knowledge
SEN Teacher Part Time /Full Time SEN Teachers required. Experience with support for Autistic Spectrum Disorder Preferred.
E.A.L Teacher Should be a certified EAL Teacher
