A KICK, A THROW AND HERE WE GO!
It was a bright and sunny passionate afternoon. The atmosphere was surrounded by heart filled sportsmanship. Both girls and boys kicked off the First Pathways Invitational Middle School Basketball and Football Tournament which was hosted by Pathways World School, Aravali.
The tournament was from 9th April to the 11th of April. There were 6 teams in all for these events. DPS International, Tagore International, Amity International School, CRPF School, Pathways School Gurgaon were the outside teams, apart from the hosts who were welcomed by the inspiring words of Dr. Sarvesh Naidu- School Director.
Every participant gave in their whole heart and soul and played together as a team motivated by the enthusiasm of the audience. Every contestant exhibited great effort and skills while playing their spectacular sport with full might and confidence, where ceaselessly they were awarded by the “ooh!” and “ahh!” from the absorbed audience.
And yes, not to forget that, finally the boiling sun was defeated by the weather Gods. The lovely breeze refreshed everyone to get into a do or die situation for their team. It was an amazing tournament. We look forward towards many more exciting sport events which eventually bring out our talents in an event which was an exclusive showcase for students of the Middle School aged between 11 to 14 years.
