Paramjit K Narang

A career spanning 35 years saw Paramjit K Narang blossom as a distinguished educator and administrator having taught every grade from Nursery to XII at school level and tutoring young hopeful teachers at teachers training college and managing schools as their head.

Prior to joining Pathways World School, she spent 12 years at Vasant Valley School, New Delhi, where she was part of the founding staff team. Starting as 1st Head of the Primary School at Vasant Valley she was elevated to the post of the Head, Senior School and finally the Head of School.

At Pathways World School, as Principal, Primary School, with her rich experience of curriculum development and teachers training, Paramjit has been the guiding force in the initiation, implementation and accreditation of the school by International Baccalaureate's (IB) Primary Years' Programme (PYP).

In addition to mandatory IB sourced teachers training, Paramjit planned and conducted a rigorous ongoing in-house teacher training programme and created systems and practices to synchronise the implementation of PYP with the vision of Pathways World School and IB programme.

She took extra-curricular activities to a new level in Pathways with her keen interest in debating and dramatics personally coaching and training students to hone their oratorical and dramatic skills and guiding teachers in integrating non academic subjects with academic ones to enhance the learning experience and extend it to the reach of students who learn in ways other than academic.

In addition to her administrative role, Paramjit also taught English and personally conducted PSHEe classes at Pathways.

After 7 years at Pathways World School, Aravali, Paramjit was elevated to the rank of Director of Pathways School, Baliawas, Gurgaon. Member of the planning team since inception of the new school project, currently, along with facilitating the development of the new infrastructure, she is spearheading the process of accreditation of the new schools by IB and training of new teams of teachers and other staff.
