Senior School Principal (Grades 9 – 12)

Sangeeta Krishnan Nag
With more than 15 years of teaching experience behind her, Sangeeta has joined Pathways Gurgaon as the Senior School Principal. She has to her credit M.Phil in English Literature (Specialization in African writing) from Mumbai University and M.A in English Literature, Delhi University. Sangeeta is also a trained teacher of Higher Level English for the International Baccalaureate Diploma course.

During her tenure was with The Shri Ram School, Gurgaon, before joining Pathways, she was not only Supervisor Extended Essay and a teacher of Elective English, English Literature and Language to Classes XI and XII, but also planned and structured the English curriculum of the Senior Secondary School and its teaching towards the award of the IB Diploma.

She was appointed Student Welfare Advisor- a member of the Senior Management Team of the school, in 2005. She mentored and counseled students on a regular basis, planned leadership training for students and also handled the implementation of the Carnegie Hall Exchange program as envisaged by Carnegie Hall, New York.

Sangeeta was Awarded 'Best Teacher' by Denison and Chicago Universities based on student nominations in 2000 and 2001 respectively.

Besides teaching, she has also written and published articles for 'The Patriot', 'Hands Call' and other journals. Sangeeta is a very versatile educationist and has worked with Doordarshan Television as program host and compere, and also worked with All India Radio for over five years as program host, compere, news reader and interviewer.

IGCSE Coordinator & Geography Teacher

Rajeev Sharma
Rajeev has to his credit, a Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) from Central Institute of Education, Delhi University, alonwith a Master's Degree in Geography From JNU, Delhi. He did his Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Geography from Delhi University and Holds the distinction of attending many national & international teacher's seminars & workshops.

A dynamic professional with over 21 years of rich experience in Teaching and Student Management, Rajeev worked with The British School, New Delhi as a Geography/Environmental Management Teacher for 10 ? years.

He worked as Key Stage Coordinator for 2 ? years at the British School from August 2006 till December 2008, and is more than Adept at preparing students for CBSE, IGCSE, A LEVELS and IB Diploma program.

HOD Mathematics

Prakash Oze
During his 30 years of teaching experience in various capacities, Prakash has been Head of Mathematics Department for thirteen and a half years (housing a dynamic team of 17 teachers). During his tenure, the school got International ranking in many of the International Mathematics Competitions such as Canadian Mathematics competition organized by University of Waterloo, Australian Mathematics Competition organized by University of New South Wales, National Olympiad and Gulf Mathematics Competition.

Being calm and composed in a classroom of diverse students and due to the vast experience of having taught different kinds of curriculum, such as IGCSE, IBDP, A-Level, ISC and CBSE, he was able to develop different kinds of techniques that earned him a Gold Medal in teaching.

Business & Management Teacher

Kirandeep Pannu Gour
Kirandeep holds a Masters degree in Business and Management from Institute of Marketing and Management India and Preston University, USA, specializing in Marketing and Human Resource Management. She has a bachelor's degree in Advertising and Sales Promotion from Delhi University. She is also trained in Business and Management and Theory of Knowledge course delivery at various International Baccalaureate training programmes.

She started her career as a corporate trainer and conducted soft skills development programs for postgraduate students at IMM and middle level managers in companies like Sapient and GE. This was followed by a career move from the corporate sector to mainstream education.

In the past six years of her association with teaching, she has taught Business Studies and Business Management in curricula like IGCSE and IB. She has also explored the domain of Theory and Knowledge with IB students and supports congruency in learning under the IB diploma program. Furthermore, she is an IB examiner for Business and Management SL Paper 1 and Internal Assessment.

English Teacher – Senior & Middle School

Megha Oberoi
Megha has done her BA Eng [Hons.] from M.C.M.D.A.V.College, Chandigarh and her Masters in English Literature from Punjab University. A Punjab University B.ED graduate, she was selected from the campus for her first job as a lecturer.

It has been an endless journey of seven and a half years having had the experience of having taught different curricula be it CBSE, ICSE, ISC, IGCSE and IB. She has done her training as oral Examiner for Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language. She is also a trained IB Eng A1 level 1 teacher and a trained AS /A Level Literature in English.

She has been actively involved as event manager in literary (conducting plays, newsletters, school magazines, etc.) cultural and sports activities. Megha is also a trained Sitar Player.

Hindi Teacher

Shobha Tayal
A postgraduate in Hindi, Shobha started her professional life in 1983 from Springdales School, New Delhi, teaching CBSE syllabus, and later moved on to join the British School.

Shobha has very rich and varied experiences in developing the Hindi Department and building ample resources for teaching the language using the latest technology. She trained students for A Level, O Level, IGCSE, IB A1 Hindi and also taught Hindi as a foreign Language to foreign nationals within her teaching span of 23 years in this institution. She has also had the chance to undertake responsibilities as CAS Coordinator and pursue IB Hindi B lately in Amity Global School.

She is truly a multifaceted individual with active interests in Vocal Music and Drama.

Subject Coordinator Social Science

Anindita Singh
After having completed her MA(Modern History) and M.Phil (Modern History) from J.N.U, she went on to do her B.Ed from Loretto College, Calcutta.

Anindita is a very experienced and enriched teacher having taught at diverse educational communities like Vasant Valley School, Modern School, Sanskriti School etc. She was also the Middle/Senior School coordinator at Shikshantar, Gurgaon. She has to her credit expertise in Curriculum Coordinatorship, Teacher training, and Parent orientation programmes.

Biochemistry Teacher

A.S Chandrakala
Ms. Chandra has over 12 years experience of teaching Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics and other life science subjects in various colleges in South India as Senior Lecturer for P.G., & U.G.students.

She holds a Master's and Philosophy degree in Biochemistry and Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics. Chandrakala also has to her credit a NCC "C" Certificate.

Teacher & HOD Computer Science

Shivani Roy
Shivani Roy has more than 15 years of teaching experience in different schools of Delhi. She has Masters in Information Technology and an honors diploma in Systems Management from NIIT. She began her career as faculty with NIIT. From there she moved on to Modern School, Vasant Vihar and then to The Banyan Tree School. She began her career in international curriculum with The British School, Chanakyapuri.

Shivani has attended Computer Science IB workshop, MYP workshop and also IGCSE Information Technology workshop conducted by university of Cambridge International Examination. She has attended IGCSE Computer Studies workshop conducted by university of Cambridge International Examination.

Subject Coordinator Sciences

Rahul Mehra
Rahul Mehra has been a teacher of chemistry for the past 13 years. Having specialised in Pharmaceutical Sciences and earning a Gold medal in B.Pharmacy, he began his career with the training students for grade X and XII Board examinations, IITJEE, and similar entrance exams. Rahul holds a Post Graduate diploma in Education Leadership and is a trained IBDP teacher.

He joined The Shri Ram School in 2006 and taught the ISC curriculum to grades IX- XII and the IBDP curriculum to the senior secondary classes.

Rahul has been a part of a 5 member committee which revised the ISC Chemistry curriculum in 2008 and has attended many workshops and seminars pertaining to school education, assessments and policy planning.

A very versatile personality he is also a book reviewer with Cambridge university press.

Student Counsellor and Career & College Advisor

Padma Anil Kumar
Having passed the UGC Net exam for Lectureship at the Master's level, Padma started her teaching career at the Masters and Bachelors level. However, with a double master in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work and Psychology, Counselling has always accompanied teaching. Marriage and Family counselling and Learning Disabilities have been her special area of focus. She has been a psychology teacher and counsellor since 1990. She was the founder head of the Psychology Department and Counselling Centre at The International School Bangalore.

A trained IBDP Psychology and TOK Teacher she has transacted the IBDP since 2000. She has also worked as the subject consultant to the ISC board and helped in all areas of its curriculum development and dissemination.

A keen dramatist, she is always ready to use drama as a medium for personality development and skill building among the youth.

Physics Teacher

Romy Gupta
A Post Graduate from Jamia Millia University and B.Ed from Central Institute of Education, Delhi University, Romy has over 15 Years of experience in teaching Physics in Senior Grades . She has received training to teach syllabi for varied national and international boards and has attended various seminars and workshops during her career for furthering her knowledge. A dedicated, resourceful and innovative instructor she is well versed in using unconventional methods and resources to inculcate an interest in the world of Science among the learners and strives to enable them to raise their performance levels.

Mathematics Teacher

Ratnika Govil
Ratnika holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Delhi University with honours in Mathematics and a Bachelors degree in education. She brings a rich experience of six years of teaching international curricula. To add to her professional development Ratnika completed an online professional development course in IGCSE Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.

Sandhya Pandey
Sandhya Pandey has a post graduate degree in Mathematics from Nagpur University and a B. Ed. from Devi Ahilya Vishva Vidyalaya, Indore. Of the 10 years of teaching experience, she has dedicated 6 years to The Shishukunj International School, Indore as Head of the Department Mathematics. She has shouldered additional responsibilities like conducting examinations, framing and managing the Time Table and coordinating house activities.

Motivating students to attain optimum performance, training students to take different competitions like National Mathematics Olympiad and heading projects for Bal Vigyan to inculcate scientific temperament in students have been other areas of her expertise. She has participated in many seminars for knowledge and skill enhancement.

Economics Teacher

Rachna Saran
An alumnus of the Lady Shri Ram College for Women and the prestigious Delhi School of Economics, Rachna has the experience of teaching economics, since 1991, at various levels ranging from Senior Secondary students in school to BBA and MBA students across colleges. A keen learner herself she believes that students are the best teachers and that learning is a lifelong process. She is currently pursuing her PhD at JNU in the area of Education of Economics.

In order to ensure the development of skills of independent and critical thinking, her efforts are dedicated towards making learning an activity rich experience connected with present times in the real world rather than only a rigorous study economics texts. In her opinion Economics needs to be taught with clarity of expression, reduction of jargon, and reference to a real world which, by its familiarity, is intrinsically easier to understand than a counterfactual world.
