The Global round for the World Scholar Cup was held at The Hague, Netherlands from 20th - 26th July 2019. More than 350 teams from across the globe participated in the event. Four teams comprising of 12 students from Pathways Noida were also a part of this mega event. The tournament at the Global round included the Collaborative writing, Team debates, Scholar’s bowl and Scholar’s challenge. Our students did well at the event winning 73 medals in all. Joel Gaba of Grade 8 at PSN was declared the best scholar. She won 5 silver medals and 9 Gold medals.
Two teams further qualified for the Tournament of Champions to be held at Yale university in the month of November 2019. The first team to qualify comprises of Joel Gaba, Lakshya Kharbanda and Suhel Amol and the second team to qualify comprises of Ihtesham Baig, Vishwam Khandelwal and Arihant Nagpal.
Qualifying for Yale though was hard but the experience was momentous for all students!!.
