Pathways School Gurgaon organized its first ever ‘Learning to Learn Day’ for the academic year 2020-21. The session commenced with the School Director, Captain Rohit Sen Bajaj addressing the parent community on the Pathways progressive culture and how the school has geared up and is getting ready to adapt the new change. He further emphasized on the theme for this year ‘anti-fragile’ and encouraged us all to be resilient in this changing world.
The Primary School Principal, Ms. Anuradha Sawhney spoke about the school’s readiness for a safe school opening in terms of SOPs, guidelines and safe practices that have been extensively worked upon. She apprised the parents with the enhancements in the Distance Learning Plan in terms of technology, professional development of the staff and scheduling. While emphasizing on the importance of three-way partnership, she introduced the PPP representatives.
The session was carried forward by Dr. Manish Gogia who briefed all on the sports program. Furthermore, the Instructional Coach of added on the importance of community building and the transition to virtual learning with special emphasis on the personalized learning of each child. She showcased the highlights of the Grade that included noteworthy mention of our Pathwaysians paving their path towards being world citizens through their ‘action’ taken during this pandemic.
The teachers gave an overview of the curriculum planned for Term-1. They also gave an insight on the remote learning systems that are put in place for the enhancement of the teaching and learning process. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A session and parents’ feedback through Microsoft Forms.
