Childhood nutrition refers to the dietary needs of healthy children aged 2 years through 11 years of age. Given the concerns around health and fitness of children, the topic was one of great interest to parents. Questions like - What to feed, When to feed and How much to feed, were top of mind.

Ms.Sonal Rastogi, Nutritionist & Diabetes Educator, in collaboration with Cloudnine Hospital conduct this interactive session, and took up parent queries.More than 10 parents attend the session which went on for an hour and addressed concerns on Health and Nutrition.It was very interesting to know how a healthy meal can be made more appetizing for the child.Ms Rastogi talked about healthier options for snack time,parents learnt how simple substitutions, like honey and jaggery for sugar, can increase the nutrient value while still maintaining the taste of food.

As a follow-up, Ms Rastogi will be sharing food "Do's & Don'ts" and suggestions on Healthy Nutrition for children.
