Nursery children feasted on self-prepared sandwiches. They carefully selected the ingredients and made sure to cover every inch of the bread with their favourite dressing. They were introduced to the butter knives that were child safe. They were aware that the knives were not toys.
When children face challenges they find ways to solve them. They take pride in their abilities and accomplishments. This in turn increases self-esteem and motivates them to try new things!
