Greetings from Pathways School Gurgaon!
I wish the entire Pathways community a very warm welcome to the new academic year 2019-20 at Pathways School Gurgaon.
As always, I believe this new school year will continue to usher in a season of tremendous learning, achievements and success.
The purpose of a holistic education today is to prepare young minds for a future in a rapidly changing and evolving world and create life long learners. To nurture and build good character and enable competent skill sets, ability to adapt and adjust in preparing for a globalised world, cultural guidance, mentoring and sensitisation is essential.
The opportunities available for Learning today are varied and exciting. The exposure is phenomenal. It is essential to have checks and balances in order to ensure well-being of our children. As partners in the learning community, I ask you to ensure the same. We have a great responsibility and duty of being good role models for our children to emulate.
I continue to emphasise on discipline, punctuality, school attendance, commitment, mutual respect and a spirit of greater inter cultural understanding this school year.
As partners in our children's education and learning, I expect that we ensure complete trust and respect of each other. This is imperative for our students well being.
My vision for the PSG student fraternity is to be truly international and open minded; to respect the uniqueness in each other's differences, to develop a greater inter cultural sensitivity and understanding, to be empathetic and good listeners , to reach out and help, be kind and compassionate, to view every challenge as a stepping stone, to remain humble in victory and develop a never give up attitude in the face of adversity. Character is very significant, because it identifies and marks who we are as a person and also influences the choices we make in life. Hence, I emphasise on character building through education.
