Through the unit, ‘ How We Express Ourselves’, Kindergarteners tuned into the celebrations around the world by marking the World students Day. The day commemorates the birthday of former Indian president A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. Born on October 15, 1931 the day is marked in his honor and to celebrate his love for science and students. The students appreciated each other’s uniqueness by identifying the learner profile attributes of their peer group and by giving them the Learner Profile certificates. Through this engagement students enhanced their social and thinking skills while strengthening their bond with each other.
